The result is the slimmest, easiest-wearing Heritage we’ve made — just 9.65mm thick, accurate, reliable and ready to wear whenever you pick it up.

The appeal of the Heritage has always been its design.

Its warm colours, railway-style minute track, beautifully proportioned numerals and understated 1950s influence remain at the heart of the watch. The new quartz edition retains that character while allowing us to reduce the case thickness and create a noticeably sleeker watch on the wrist.

At 40mm across and only 9.65mm thick, it slips easily under a cuff and feels lighter and less bulky than its automatic predecessor.

Inside is the Japanese Miyota 2315 quartz movement — a proven, accurate and low-maintenance movement designed to simply get on with the job.

Why Quartz?

There’s a reason quartz transformed watchmaking.

It is more accurate than a traditional mechanical movement, requires less maintenance and means you can leave your Heritage for a few days — or a few weeks — and pick it up again without having to reset and wind it.

It also allows us to make the Heritage substantially slimmer.

So if your priority is the design, quality and character of the watch rather than watching a mechanical rotor turn through the caseback, this is arguably the most usable Heritage we’ve ever made.

Vintage Character Without the Fuss

The Heritage was designed to capture something we love about watches from the middle of the twentieth century: they were elegant, colourful and — importantly — wearable.

Moving to quartz lets this version get closer to that philosophy.

At less than 10mm thick, it has the proportions of a genuinely slim everyday watch while retaining the 40mm presence and unmistakable dial of the original Heritage.

Dress it up. Wear it with jeans. Leave it on the bedside table for a fortnight and pick it straight back up.

The Heritage is still the Heritage. It’s just easier to live with.
