At its centre, the Seiko Mechanical Quartz Hybrid hybrid movement powers the watch and ensures accuracy and performance that is as crucial for a timepiece as it is for race cars. The split black and white dial, complemented by luminous hands and indices, conjures images of the finishing flag, while the Seconds, Minutes, Date and 24-Hour counters share similarities with the cockpit. The Tachymeter chapter ring and rotating bezel add the final essential details.
